Would the ‘Ear Force XLC Stereo Headphones’ provide surround sound to hear the direction of footsteps in MW2?

I have been playing MW2 for Xbox360 for some time now and I would like to purchase a pair of headphones that will allow me to hear the direction of footsteps of Other players in MW2.
