Sennheiser Headphones

What are the best Sennheiser headphones for the price?
I am looking for a present for my dad. He likes the bose ones, but they are 150+ bucks which is out of my price range. He likes them because of their comfort level and noise cancellation. I was looking at the PXC 250, but I want to know if there are any better ones.
heck right now i am using sennheiser PX 200 which are pretty cheap and the work amazing and are very comfertable… of course if he wants noise cancelling then thats probably the best top of the line sennheiser you can get. I got mine 4 years ago an they still work great though no noise canncelation, they block noise good enough to listen to what they are pluged int though… sorry if i didn’t help much but the 200 and 250 are really really nice for their price.

Turtle Beach X1 question?
I’m sorry if this question isn’t worded properly, but I really don’t know what I’m talking about. I don’t know much about sound related things. I’m referring to using them for an Xbox 360 if that’s important.
I’m currently living with a roommate who owns a surround system. We have a TV hooked up to a receiver which is connected to a generic 5.1 surround system. The thing is, he also has a set of wireless Sennheiser headphones which connect to the receiver through the headphone jack. Currently, if I want to listen to the headphones and not the speakers, I can simply tell the receiver to turn the speakers off. When that happens, sound is only played through the wireless headphones.
My question is, if I bought these Turtle Beach X1′s, what would I need to do in order to use them? The way the current headphones connect to the receiver is an adapter. There are 2 small cables coming from the headphone unit(red and black), which go into an adapter (1/4″ I think) which then plugs into the receivers headphone jack. When looking at the instructions on the Turtle Beach site, it shows some red and white cables going from the headset into your TV.
So really my question is, on this diagram (http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/efx1/howdoesitwork.aspx) would I be able to plug those red and white cables at the bottom into the 1/4″ adapter used by the Sennheiser headphones and then plug that into the headphone jack? Would that work?
Wireless headphones being picked up?
What are the chances of someone picking up the signal on my Sennheiser RS 130 Wireless Surround Sound Headphones (range up to 150 meters?) What type of devices would pick it up?
