Why cant my computer find my XM radio?
I just bought a Pioneer XM radio GEX-INNO1 from a garage sale for 5 bucks and figured i was getting a good deal because it looked expensive. So when i got home i plugged it into my computer via USB and it couldnt recognize it. It found the device but wouldnt charge it or anything. I dont know how to get it to charge or even get found by my computer,Help me?

Navigation installation HELP in 2006 Passat!!!!?
I tried installing a Pioneer AVIC-F7010BT in my wifes VW Passat last night. The unit and evrything was functioning great until I realized the car was OFF!!! The unit continued to work while the car was off. The only time it would cut off is when I disconnected the wire harness. any idea what could be the cause of this? Any and all suggestions welcome!
There is something wired wrong in between the harness adaptor and the harness for the stereo. You need to really make sure that it is correctly color matched, because some companies really make it difficult tell the if it is truely a different color that you think it is. Also hit up the Passat forums to find out anything further that you really should know about. But it sounds like the constant and the 12V wires are crossed, well more like this constant from stereo wire to 12V car harness, and the 12V car harness wired to stereo constant. Getting those to mixed will leave your stereo in the state that it is in right now. On when it should be off, and off when it should be on. Could be wrong though.

How do you change the color on the pioneer DEH-2200UB deck?
I recently bought a pioneer deck with no manuel. I would like to change the illumination color from red to green. I also dont have the remote. 
If you have any ideas please help, thank you very much!
1. Push in the M.C. (Main Control) to display the setting mode
2. Turn the M.C. to select the desired setting (Red or Green.)
3. Push the M.C. in to confirm selection.

Is it safe to connect two pairs of speakers to one stereo system?
i have two sets of speakers that i want to connect to my Sony home stereo system, in the hope that it will increase and improve and make the sound louder.. the speakers arent the original ones that came with the system, but one pair is also Sony, and the other pair is Pioneer, the impedance of the speakers are all 8 Ω, and on the back of my stereo system it says impedance use: 6 – 16 Ω .. so will connecting the four speakers not be a problem, and when the volumes set to max, will the sound be louder and better?

Im having problems unscrewing a top load scrapbook. ?
I got one screw undone not even sure how i did. But having problems with the second one. Its a Pioneer album, 12×12. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hi! I’m guessing that when you turn the screw the whole assembly spins around instead of coming undone. If this is the case, I think I can offer some help. Get a screwdriver with a wide blade and a pair of pliers. Gently grab the “stationary” end of the screw post with the pliers to hold it still, and use the screw driver to turn the other side.
It may be that the screw was put in a little crooked. I hope this helps.

Which HD signal is better for a 1080p native TV?
On my new Pioneer KURO 50″ plasma, it supports 1080p natively (which is amazingly gorgeous btw). However, my satellite HD PVR only outputs as high as 720p/1080i. So my question is, which one, 720p or 1080i, will look better on my tv, which converts everything to 1080p?
I have a Bell (Canada) 9242, which simply has a 720p or 1080i setting. No dynamic or static stuff. Its just one or the other.
It may not be that simple. A friend’s DirecTV HD DVR can be set to static or dynamic output resolution, which refers to the path between the DVR and the TV. By setting it to static, the path is fixed at 1080i, which obviously has no effect on his incoming HD programs which are virtually all 720p. 720p looks like 720p and 1080i looks like 1080i (you can tell the difference on a large screen).
The dynamic setting makes the DVR output track the input, sending whatever resolution to the set that it receives from the satellite. The result is the same.
Your DVR may or may not have the same options, but under the circumstances, I would set it at the best possible resolution and leave it there.
