I’m planning on buying some new headphones in the near future. I currently own a set of the Sony in-ear headphones and they’re pretty good. I was wondering if Bose/Sennheiser noise canceling headphones are significantly better than standard in-ear ones. What seems to be the problem? My laptop audio jack or earphones?
I just had my Sennheiser MX 370 earphones last week, and I used it for about 5 times already. When I connect it to my laptop audio jack, the Left side only plays.
It only started now, a week ago, I could hear both left and right.
Adjusting the earphone plug actually fixes it but I want to know if it’s the laptop or earphones.
The earphones works on other devices.

How to choose the best Xbox Headset
With so many xbox 360 headsets on the market, it can be hard to choose which one will be best for you. There are a large number of different brands and products available to buy, ranging from the budget to high end expensive accessories. Here’s a couple of tips to help you choose the best headset:
One of the first things to decide is whether your xbox headset needs to be universal or not. Universal means that your headset can be used with different hardware – so the Xbox 360, PS3 and on the PC. If you are someone who uses different platforms, then you might want to consider a universal headset, rather than investing in different headsets for each. Of course the different heasdsets will work with sound, however if you want to be able to use voice as well, which is so critical for online gaming, then it is worth investing in a universal headset. For example you might want to consider the Tritton AX Pro or the Tritton AX 720.
As a general rule, the more you pay for your headset, the better the quality it will be, and so your enjoyment of playing games will be dramatically increased. However, another decision you might have to make when looking at the top end of the Xbox Headset market is whether you want true 5.1 surround or virtual 7.1 surround. For example the Tritton AX Pro gives you True 5.1 surround which gives incredible directional sound – perfect for hearing someone sneaking up on you on Halo Reach or Call of Duty. Whilst not giving you quite as good sound as a pair of high quality stereo headphones, the audio sound is still amazingly crisp and accurate – games sound truly alive.
In contrast you might choose to buy the Turtle Beach X41, which offers virtual 7.1 surround sound. The stereo headet, with large 50mm drivers create deep bass and amazing audio, which is instantly noticeable. When coupled with the dolby virtual surround gives impressive results. However, the directional accuracy is not as good as the true 5.1 Tritton AX Pro, however as a multimedia headset, the X41s are superb.
Ultimately the decision about which headset to buy for your xbox is a difficult one, it’s well worth getting your hands on a pair to check out yourselves – or have a look at some of the online reviews available.

As of wireless headphones – they are no good. For the same money you can get a Hi-End wired headphones, that sound way better (no noise, deeper bass, clearer middles and treble). Look for Sennheiser’s wired headphones, some of them have top performance.

Sony MDR 7506 – Most Versatile Headphones?
Some headphones are more fancy, with more bells and whistles, and of course a higher price tag. Others are more simple, without as many of today’s important features. The Sony MDR 7506, on the other hand, is neither of these things. With its great sound and comfort, along with its affordable price tag, it might very well be the most versatile headphone on the market today.
Although not technically of the ‘noise cancelling genre’ (and not in that higher price range either), these headphones have superb external noise reducing abilities. While wearing these headphones, it truly is as if you are turning off the switch on the world around you. The 40 mm drivers in these headphones give a very powerful sound, while still coming in clear and reducing any outside noise that you wouldn’t wan to get in. For those lesser ‘technically savvy’ people, simply put, these headphones are awesome.
In addition, these headphones are great for travel as they are foldable, and come with their own soft case to take with anywhere you’d like, be it just your normal trip to the gym to workout, or across the globe on your next vacation.
It would be a lie to say that these are the very best headphones available on the market today, however when looking for a set of headphones in the less than $100 range, they simply cannot be beat. They can be found (albeit a bit more expensively) in retail stores, but for the best available prices and online discounts can be found with user reviews at certain online websites as well. I’ve kinda narrowed it down to the SENNHEISER IE7′S the KLIPSH IMAGE S4′S, and the SHURE SE310 SOUND ISOLATING’S. Will they all fit an iPod touch? And which one would be the best sounding? I travel alot too.

Most ear buds will fit the iPod Touch, I don’t know much about ear buds, except that I personally like the ones they give you with the iPod. Sorry, I am not much help.
