I just bought a Kenwood KAC-6404 to power my door speakers because my lows overpower everything else.
So how do i wire this to the speakers. I understand i run it to the doors, but do i keep the headunits wire going to the speakers as well. I thought of just removing the stock wires, but then i thought the in dash speakers would not be used then so idk what to do? Keep the stock wire from the headunit, and just run the amp wire to it as well? Double amped speakers? Or should i just disconect the headunit from the door speakers have the amp completly power them?
Your HU will be adequate for the speakers – thats about it.
Then again pioneer isn’t the “Rolls-Royce” of speakers so…
Look at MB Quart for excellent speakers.
Get a different amp – maybe Phoenix Gold and get a C V sub.
Amplify your speakers so it sounds clean.

Why does my laptop shut down when I download pics from my Sony cyber-shot with the memory stick adapter?
I would check in with the software that you have that there is not a setting in it that says “shut down windows after copying” (or something similar. I’m thinking there could be the chance that there is something like that built in for when people have large numbers of photos they’re downloading from the memory stick.. and thus allows them to let it start and then go away from the computer knowing it will shut down.. (If it is shutting down afterward that is)..
Or.. it could be some sort of electrical malfunction…which certainly wouldn’t be good.
I don’t have an “answer” really .. but thought that idea could be something that could help.
