Has anyone played with the Sony Reader (http://www.learningcenter.sony.us/assets/itpd/reader/)? What is your opinion of it as an eBook reader? I’m a Mac user. Would the Connect software’s lack of Mac compatibility be a major problem in using this device for me?

You home theater receiver plays an important role in the performance of your equipment. With changes in technology in audio and video, you won’t want to waste a lot of money upgrading your equipment frequently, so here are different kinds of home theater receivers’ features and then a brief look at popular models out there so that you’ll get the most for you buck.
Power Output – Look for at least channels of amplification, no less. Check specs ratings.
Preamp Outputs – Check settings; a high volume setting means more preamp level output, while a low setting means no output.
Video / Tape out/VCR Input and Output – If you need these, make sure they are marked (otherwise, you may not have them!) Check compatibility of equipment with your systems for video: Composite Video / S-Video / Component Video / RGB Video.
Surround Decoders – This is built into some home theater systems. Check with your system.

i have this new sony w830 phone, but the charger is different. i guess it was made for european countries. it came with a piece that would fit in a US socket but I dunno how to use it, do I plug one into the other ……please only ans if U really know….
You have to use adaptor pins to the plug to use it in the socket. Most of the plugs from Europe or other foreign countries need to be used with adaptor pins as these can not be used directly in Indian sockets, sometime these adaptor pins comes with charger itself and if it came without it then go to any electric shop nearby and purchase it, it costs only Rs. 3 or 5.

hi there i bought a sony ericsson e series walkman and im having difficulties getting movies onto the walkman, it says the movie that can be allowed are MPEG-4 file. however i try putting on MPEG 4 file, but it say it cannot be played. can someone help me with this, or give me a software i can download to convert.
