i own a sony alpha dslr and need a battery grip but they all seem to be for the latter models of the camerea like the a200 and up..any one know where i could find it for the a 100

Without actually looking at and testing your camera, my best estimate is that your camera battery needs to be replaced.
If your camera battery has been recharged several hundred times, and/or it’s been exposed to high temperatures in a hot car or left in the sun, then it’s likely you need to buy a new battery. Lithium batteries for most electronics typically have a very limited number of recharge cycles, typically in the low to mid hundred, and lose a lot of that if exposed to elevated temperatures for any length of time.
