IFA 2010: The recent announcement
3D TV, connected TV and Tablet dominate IFA 2010? Cs largest consumer technology show in Europe. The first press conference at the fair are underway.
ViewSonic to have two Tablet PC devices at this years IFA tech festival. First, the 7-inch ViewPad 7 , is similar to Samsung Galaxy Tab(but with inferior specifications).
ViewPad 100 , yet looks much more interesting. The building has a dual-boot function, so users can switch between the Android 2.2, and Windows 7 Home Premium.
LG had two interesting high-definition televisions for the show. The company is calling LEX8 the worlds first LED TV Nano, as it diffuses through the more efficient LED-backlit additional layer punctured with small holes. OLED fans will be drooling at the sight prototype 31-inch TV (although it is not yet ready for commercial use).
Toshiba do not want to lag behind when the train leaves the station, tablet PC, so is using IFA to announce the 10.1-inch tablet dubbed Android Folio 100 .
Galaxy Tab As announced by Samsung, folio Android 2.2 will work. It will also boast two Tegra co-processor and have a built-in camera. Thicker and heavier(and less desirable) than the IPAD, Toshiba plans to fire the starter this year.

Toshiba took the wraps from the first 3D TV ready. New Regza WL768 Series during the use of Blu-ray and 3D announcements Sky TV. It also has a web applications on YouTube and BBC iPlayer.

Sony SXRD lamp replacement (or repair)?
I just got a new lamp for my KDS-50A2000 Sony SXRD TV. I already called Sony support and they are going to get back to me in 2 business days, but I want an answer quicker than that.
When I try to replace the lamp (and housing), the TV is not turning on. The power/standby button flashes 3 times, pauses, then flashes 3 times, etc.
This last bulb replacement is needed because the last one shattered. I was not able to walk through the lamp replacement process. Any ideas on what could be wrong? Thanks!

are over the head earphones good?
well, i kind of want a over the head earphone and i was woundering if they are cool. i know really lame to ask but i wanted to know if ill look cool wearing one, or if ill look like a dork. im in high school and right now i have a itouch with the apple earbuds. also if they are good, i want to know which one is better. Sony MDR-V700DJ, Audio-Technica ATHANC7, Audio-Technica ATH-M50S, Pioneer HDJ-1000, or Pioneer HDJ-2000. thx if you help
Hi Ivan: As a former d.j. I have owned about ten pairs of headphones, including some really good Sony’s. The ones you ask about are good, (I agree with another answerer that Grado are great – but I think they are gawky looking) but of the models you ask about, the Pioneer HDJ 2000 are THE best. They dont look too um, “dorky” either. They are VERY good but don’t LOOK too expensive. Try them side by side with any of the above mentioned models and you would likely find them best for sound and comfort. Sony have somewhat of an artificial sound and they get hot to wear, even sweaty pretty fast. I like Audio Technica but one of the models you ask about is 1.8 POUNDS. Even though you’re a teenager, your neck doesnt need that extra weight for any length of time.
For the money (see 1st link) the Sony’s are okay and look pretty standard. Common.
There are some other Audio Technica phones that would be more daring to wear if you’re daring enough – and they give good sound. (see 2nd link)
If you can afford them, I say go with the Pioneer HDJ-2000. The look is good because they are not too show-offy and just their frequency response (very low low sounds and very high highs!) make them the best from your list. Amazing! (Many headphones are 20 -20,000. These are 6 -30,000!)

btw, the ATHANC7 are huge noise cancelling headphones I wouldn’t recommend walking around with. Over the ear headphones are isolating enough. Good luck.

Any of the retrofit kits for cleaner diesel going into the EcoPatent Commons?
Do an online search for Eco-Patent Commons and you learn that Nokia, and Sony, with IBM and Pitney-Bowes will share patented technology to help clean up the environment. One can ask if this is just more good intentions like the United Nations, but I wonder which diesel retrofit kit maker will be the first to share their patent to help everyone – and to some extent their own stock-holders at the same time.

Recently, a new BMW diesel car was compared to the Toyota Prius Hybrid. The BMW was better in terms of CO2. How would this compare to an old diesel with a retrofit kit?
Korean automakers are probably already working on this.
Maybe they would contribute such a kit patent to the Eco-Patent Commons. US companies tend to be too selfish, but I could be wrong.

SONY PIIQ Qlasp or Exhale?
I want headphones that wont fall out of my ear when I run and ones that have good sound quality
that are reasonably priced.
What is your opinion on the Sony Piiq Qlasp for this?
I was also looking at the Sony Piiq Exhale because they have good bass and that is what I want, but I dont know if they will stay in my ear when I run.
So what ones do you prefer for running and good sound quality?

From my experiences I have found out headphones that are shaped like the exhale tend to fall out of one’s ear easily. I believe it falls out easily because of its shape. The shape doesn’t create enough suction when put into one’s ear. I would say that the qlasp would be the best for you because it creates a better suction than the exhales and it has clip to stay on.
